What is the perfect snack?? The definition of snacking is: food eaten between regular meals...a nibble, graze, to munch. One of our favorite things to munch on is popcorn! Seriously....consumed at least 4 or 5 times a week. We prefer homemade with a bit of coconut oil and sea salt. Granola has become another favorite. It is sweet, crunchy, and carries a bit of saltiness that makes everyone happy. We put it on top of sliced apples and peanut butter, in yogurt cups, and nibble on it right out of the bowl. Any fruit or vegetable steals the show around here for snack time. Our favs are bananas, pears, apples, and berries from the garden. Snacking can help maintain energy during slower times of the day. And healthy snack choices can help fill your nutritional intake on fruits and veggies. It's a total win!
