Any object in motion needs some sort of fuel or momentum, right?? Newton's first law of motion is: every object in a state of uniform motion will remain in that state of motion unless an external force acts on it. A body at rest will stay at rest unless it is acted upon by an external force. This means our bodies require some force acting upon them to change. That force is food. The food we consume everyday is the force that causes function and movement in our bodies whether voluntary or involuntary. Do you see food as fuel? The fuel we put in our bodies is everything. It is our skin, it is our energy, it is our mood, it is our movement, it is our health....and it all comes from the tip of our fork. Eat an energy making breakfast like oats filled with chia and flax seeds. Drink plenty of water. Be mindful, be inventive, and be intuitive about the way you fuel your mind and body everyday!
