Everyone loves a delicious smoothie! You can sip them through a straw or place it in a bowl and top it with anything you fancy! Along our smoothie journey we have learned a few tricks we would like to share. Number one is the magic of banana. Bananas are a key ingredient in any smoothie. They add a perfect hint of natural sweetness and they make any combo extra creamy and smooth. They can be added frozen or fresh. Trick number two is the liquid to fruit and vegetable ratio. The idea of the smoothie is that the consistency is nice and smooth. Start by adding all the fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds and anything else first, then fill your blender about one-fourth of the way full of the desired liquid. You can use water, milk, or juice. Do not be afraid to add more if needed. Lastly, some smoothies can leave you feeling hungry before your next meal. Add-ins like yogurt, cottage cheese, kefir, and nuts can help keep you satisfied and feeling full. Happy blending!
