The definition of Fit or Fitness is: the quality of being suitable to fulfill a particular role or task. It does not refer to weight or muscle mass. It does not refer to only eating one particular way, and it does not refer to perfection. We will perform many different roles and tasks in our lives, so being fit is undoubtedly an evolving trait. On a daily basis we can gauge how we feel as we are completing our daily tasks and roles in our environment. Our fitness is not destined to one day or one week. We can become better anytime we feel we are not suitable for a certain task. We can change a certain eating habit or we can add more movement into our schedule. Maybe we need to lower our cholesterol or we need to accomplish a certain training regiment for an event. Notice how you feel after eating certain meals or treats.
