The Grain Market Policies

Shipping Policy:

Equipment is shipped via UPS Ground. Most orders are placed within 24 hours. Items sent with free shipping apply only to the continental 48 states excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Shipping damages must be reported within 24 hrs. Other shipping options are available.

30 Day Return Policy:

You must contact The Grain Market within 30 days of the original purchase date to obtain a Return Product Number (RPN) before returning any item. Please e-mail at customerservice@thegrainmarket.com or call 517.749.9778 for an RPN. Items must be unused, in as-shipped condition in the original undamaged box, wrappers, packaging, owner/instruction manuals and so forth. Each returned item will be inspected. A repackaging fee will apply if packing materials are not returned complete. Return postage and insurance are the responsibility of the sender. Taxes are non-refundable. Additionally, the original cost of shipping the product(s) will be deducted from your credit, to include any items that qualified for a free shipping purchase program. Items returned for any reason other than a damaged product or product shipping mistake will be subject to a 20% or $10.00 restocking fee (whichever is greater) for all non-defective items. We lose money on returned items due to expenses involving card transaction fees, shipping, handling, time loss, depreciation, packaging and other costs. Defective Equipment:
The Grain Market does not offer any guarantee, warranty or repair of the products sold. All product warranties are between the product purchaser and the product manufacturer. You are advised to review the manufacturer warranty immediately upon receipt of the product purchased. Within 14 days, customers may opt to have defective machines replaced or refunded. After 14 days, the terms of the manufacturer's warranty apply. We will pay shipping cost for the return of defective items only from within the 48 continental US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).

Lost or Damaged Shipment:

The Grain Market is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. In the event of a damaged package, please contact the package carrier immediately. If you suspect your delivery has been lost or stolen, you may contact The Grain Market to obtain a tracking number. If the tracking number confirms product delivery to your address, please contact the carrier.

Receipts:

When ordering online, your receipt is available for printing at "Step 3" (the final step) of checkout. Receipts for items ordered by phone will be e-mailed or mailed to you. Most manufacturers require receipt for warranty service, so be sure to keep your receipt.

Privacy:

We do not sell or otherwise disclose customer information to any outside party not directly involved in fulfilling your order.

Security:

Our online ordering system is encrypted for your protection. Customer credit card information is never transmitted by insecure means. Credit card information is automatically, securely deleted at an interval following order fulfillment – not stored indefinitely. Occasionally someone sends us an ordinary email containing their credit card information... Please DO NOT send an email containing your credit card information because an email isn't a secure channel.
